Charbay Doubled & Twisted cocktail recipe

The Twisted Apple


  • 2 oz Charbay Doubled & Twisted Whiskey
  • 1/2 oz Lemon Juice
  • 1 Egg White or ½ oz Aquafaba
  • 1/2 oz Brown Sugar Simple Syrup
  • 1/2 oz Hard Apple Cider
  • Cinnamon


  • Add the lemon juice, egg white (or aquafaba), brown sugar simple syrup, and whiskey to the cocktail shaker. Dry shake vigorously without ice for 45 seconds to unfold the proteins in the egg white (or aquafaba). You want the texture to be a foamy meringue.
  • Add ice, secure shaker lid tightly, and shake for another 10 seconds. 
  • Strain into coupe or martini glass (double strain through a mesh strainer if available). 
  • Add the hard cider to the shaker and give 3-4 gentle shakes and strain once more into the cocktail to get all the foamy goodness. 
  • Hold stencil over the cocktail as close as possible without touching foam. Sprinkle cinnamon over the stencil to imprint your design.
