Tequila Tapatío Añejo

Cult Classic 18 Mth Aged Tequila

Añejo means ‘aged’ in Spanish and at 18 months of aging, Tapatío Añejo tequila is exactly that. Tapatío releases this tequila only to us, as the US exclusive importers. We consider ourselves lucky…

  • Made by La Alteña distillery, founded by Don Felipe Camarena Hernández in 1937
  • From 100% blue weber agave grown in the highlands of Jalisco
  • Aged for 18 months in used bourbon barrels, 6 months more than required
  • Distilled to 114 proof, stored in stainless or barrels, then cut to bottling proof

What to expect? With more oak aging you’ll sip the richness of vanilla and cacao, finely balanced with the hint of lime zest.
